Aim:
To gather the right audience of people who would be interested in starting grassroots initiatives or community initiatives but may not have the resources to get them started. To engage with potential users and learn about them beforehand; so that the content of the event could be tailored to their interests.
Co-created Experience:
We hosted the Dublin Meetup at Jaja Studios in Stoneybatter. People sat at different tables, all discussing their ideas for various grassroots initiatives while learning about the launch of Change X’s web platform to facilitate this process for users. We facilitated a Give and Take activity, where people wrote down what they needed and what they could help with to help encourage a collaborative approach. By the end of this event, Change X had received a lot of advice regarding how to change their platform to make it more user-friendly and accessible. Furthermore, attendees from the event pledged to start using this platform as a tool for starting their grassroots initiatives.
